I'm having a few problems finding the correct rate for road tax for when I import my motorhome. Bringing it in from Germany and it was first registered in 2012.It's a LHD Chausson Flash 03 on a Ford TDCi 2.2. (under 3500kg)
No CO2 emmisions on the COC but its states its a 'Euro 4'.
So far from DVLA I've had the following answers, depending on who I speak to...
1. Euro 4 light goods Tax Class 36 = £140
2. Private or light goods (PLG) over 1549cc = £230
3. Light goods Tax Class 39 = £225
Number 1 is unlikely as it only applies for vehicles registered between 01/03/03 and 31/12/06. That leaves me with options 2 and 3. Given that option 2 is £5 more than 2 I'm tempted to go for that rather than risk getting the application rejected. Any one else had the same issue?
