Recipes thread

Jan mentioned starting a thread to put any favourite recipes in so shall we give it a go?

I guess many of us have 'old classics' that we use regularly and which perhaps have many variations to them. Please do share them.

I'll pop the ones in that I have mentioned on the 'What are you doing today? thread to kick off...

Thanks Kev that told me the first thing I wanted to know, can it be put in the dish washer as its plastic not glass as my Kenwood liquidiser was, (It´s a mystery where that's gone.)
I will now get in touch with Amazon, how stupid to sent Spanish instructions.
Been in touch with Amazon in India, but he was understandable. the advert does say Spanish Recipes, but I didn´t expect them to be in Spanish.
Anyway I have bookmarked the link Kev so have to print things as and when I need them, if ever,

Downloaded the PDF and leaving it on the desktop.
Just make sure it's the same model as there were loads, I imagine all will be DW safe but best t be sure.
I´m 99.5% certain they will all be made from the same material,
I have washed it by hand and probably won´t need to put the bit I will use in the dish washer, the other jugs I can put up in the top cupboard to be used as, when or if.
I have decided to send this bullet back and get a replacement for my Kenwood, it will be glass for a start, this thing is too delicate, can´t put hot stuff in it when that's what I will want to do when liquidising. Has to be put on the top shelf of the dish washer, you can only lay it down because it´s too tall, I don´t need these other extras either so back it goes.

Bullet sent back and money refunded, Kenwood attachment arrived yesterday, looks bigger than the one that got away, I`ll be able to make enough soup to feed the village nearly in this one, and it`s cheaper 88€ the other 130€
The one thing I have never done is, pulverise soup. I have it now as my grandma and mother always made it, no grinders in those days.
I like lentil soups, pea and potato too.

I got some Mutton at the weekend so it's Mutton curry on the go now, just tasted it and it might be a bit too salty, not sure how to knock it back without sweetening it though.

Any ideas?
Try Putting cream, cream fresh or even carnation milk in a dessertspoon full at a time Kev, that helps to cut down the salt taste.

Why for the hangry face Jean? I did put potatoes in it, less salty but really horrible and smelled awful too, best to just bin it.

finally the Yorkshire pudding is behaving, I'm thinking it must be the temperature in the kitchen as it was a bit warmer last night and it almost rose to full height.
