Could have been, I am talking about 57 years or more ago.

So the Chilli powder has also gone, to a good home, Marko said if I had put some sugar in as well as the creme fresh it would have helped, too late now, but I don´t think anything would have tempted me into half liking it.
I already know what I will do with one lot (I made 3 400gr. pots full of the turkey, onion etc.), I will make a cream sauce to put it in, that'll do it.

😁 For the one who doesn´t cook much these days I´ve had a lot to say today.

Alan is conspicuous by his absence, I hope Mrs E had a better experience than I :) :)

I'm just doing a chicken one again as it was the best (Liz is going to get some Mutton to try) I've abandoned the 1/2 spoon of this and 1 spoon of that malarkey

Art Insect Parasite Smiley Circle

I'm sure Indian women just approximate it and I prefer a bit more oomph in me grub anyway, and Liz had some frozen pressed garlic so 2 large cubes of that, Ground ginger as fresh is too much of a phaph if I'm doing it, ground everything in this one to see if it's up to it as cooking is a chore for me and I is solely to spare Liz cooking a couple of days a week, some of this will also go in the van, Liz is going to make a couple of stews too for the van, I wish I could find my special 1.5litre slow cooker for the van as we're used to a much larger van freezer and can't put much in it, but have to suffer these under counter rubbish things.

Okay shout out for Alan

A bit too early to be sure as it's tomorrows tea and will marinade oer night, but early results are promising and there will be plenty left for the freezer/van.

We would prefer one of Grahams Curries rather than that, sorry Jan, far to sweet for us.

This one has been marinating in the fridge for a day, will be cooked tonight with home made Naan Bread for our dinner.

I should have added, half of it will be frozen for another evening.

We tend to stick with with our favourites but will try something adventurous when a new dish comes along. We always have had curries in the past but never as tasty as our recent ones from Graham.

It's a shame you can't email or post a taste :D :D

It'll be possible one day I bet.

Another one from Grahams recipes tonight, now a great favourite of ours. Chicken with Ginger & Black Peppers, with lots of Chestnut Mushrooms to give it colour, plus home made Naan Bread to "souk up" the juices. Not forgetting the Australian Pinot Gris from Lidl.

We had the pork curry from last weekend in the van on Tuesday night with some nice flat bread from Asda, liz warmed them up in a dry frying pan, V nice, there was s fair bit of juice left over as I hate dry curries, and we added it to a co-op curry last night with pilau rice quite yummy 😋

I have just returned from our butchers with half a kilo of lean diced lamb, I think that speaks for itself Graham. It was excellent thank you.

Last nights, Chicken with Ginger & Black Peppers was a little different from the last time Joyce made it, for some reason or another it had a slightly different flavour despite following the same recipe...... After a discussion over lunch we have come to the conclusion it was the Garam Marsala that probably changed the flavour, the pack that Joyce used yesterday was a different brand from the one used in the previous recipe, strange but true.

As you have guessed I started this earlier today but was called away. Lidl have packs of 6 Leg of Lamb Chops £11, quite a good price if anyone is interested.

I made a paella last night on the CADAC. Blooming lovley it is too but difficult to scale to 2 people. No fish, but chicken, chorizo and prawns.
