Started using Opera on my phone and set it as the default browser. It's OK but does not seem as fast as Google. Especially when accessing mhf topics.
It always takes me to the first post and then I have to select the latest post with can take more time. Then if I go back on the thread I end up at first post again.

Ray.
This is proving a real pain for me too. I'm sure there must be a setting somewhere to make it default to your most recent position on the page.

Anyone know how?

It's good to be clear that you need to activate in UK, as I had intended to do it when our 12gb from 3 ran out in France. But not a problem.
Now I would imagine you could unpark the sim whilst abroad just with an e mail, as that number is already registered and activated.
Or if you want 6 months or more to get someone in UK to buy and activate a new sim and post.

At the moment I think Popit could be the sim of choice for motorhomers abroad and I don't want them to start thinking it's too much hassle. However I do fear, as a new business venture(I think) they may feel differently when they start getting the bills from their overseas partners, for all the motorhomers using their full allowance abroad.

Let's hope not as I don't think there's anything to match it at the moment.
Unless they come back to me with "of course you can use ALL your data abroad......subject to our fair usage policy :devilish:)

Google is not a browser, google is a search engine that can be used in any browser. Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Opera mini, Safari etc. Think of a browser as your portal to the yinternet and a search engine as your index and Sat nav for it.

For Google fans although various browsers use Bing or their own search engines nearly all can be made to use Google by default.

Been discussing this on another forum. The Tiekom is a data only sim (no calls or SMS), so you'd need another to use as a phone.

Tiekom.com Spanish data only sim (€15 post + €40pm for 300Gb, €60 for 400Gb) seems EU wide.

Popitmobile.co.uk Definitely free EU roaming (deals up to £25pm for 100Gb).

Free.fr (buy in France, either by the month (effectively €30pm for 210gb) or contract (€10 + €20pm + €8 to close it) (25Gb outside France).

IDMobile.co.uk (currently up to £14pm for 250Gb, £16pm for unlimited, but the usual 'fair use' EU roaming = about 12Gb) (normally £1 more)

For Australians (or if you buy from Australia and get them posted over):
Simsdirect.com.au Black Friday sale A$50.40 (£28.30 + post to UK) for 140Gb UK & EU (normally A$72)
These sims last 28 days. You need a UK credit card to buy more credit in the Three app, so Australians need to buy multiple sims for extra months (though you may be able to buy a voucher to recharge the initial sim).
