Hello Everyone,

I am looking for Storage in the South Manchester Area. Don't mind Buxton, Warrington, Cheshire or Similar areas.

May be short or long term, unsure at the moment.

Anyone any ideas?

http://www.cassoa.co.uk lists several in Cheshire but unsure of costs - they seem to vary depending on facilities/security and in/outdoor.

Cassoa

Thanks Keith,

Tried a few of them near me.

Many have no space or have very limited access times. One I found last week with 24 Hour access has since sold the last place.

So still looking
Local farmers ? Try branch of NFU in the area you fancy and see if they can suggest anyone.

Local papers ?Buy a copy for the same area and see if anyone has anything?

Local CS or CLs or Club sites ?

Adverts in 8 'til Late shops in the areas you are looking at ?

Local haulage or even coach firms who have big yards ? - see Yellow Pages

hey,

It is a difficult thing in our area, last year when i was lookin they were all full or madly expensive, i ended up on one at Macclesfield for 300 notes a year but he sold out and evicted us all a couple of months ago.

As of now the van is sitting on my dads driveway which isn't the best, there seems to be a shortage of spaces in south manchester,

There is a guy i go past sometimes on the M56/M6 junction with a lot of vans, i was thinkin of taken a drive down there, i have tried an couldn't find his number on the web,

If you find anything please keep us informed, Thanks
the place where i park mine has loads of room !! but its in bolton !! if you need the number pm me .

Trev,

Come and park alongside us here.

It's called A1 Secure Storage; the site of an old power station, now used for airport parking amongst other things.
There's a big electrified fence all around the site, with 24h manned security that only let you in if your reg is on the list, or you have the right sticker in your screen.

A1 Secure Storage: run by Kieth Marshall
mobile 07890 205154
work 0845 630 3000
Postcode of site: M31 4AX

Been there since February and no problems.
PM me if you want more specific info (or a guided tour)

Thanks for the Info, the link you gave me comes up with a postcode of M21 9LG!

Oops, that'll be my own postcode; where I started dragging the map from to find it!

The postcode in my previous post will find it for you; it's in Carrington; and handy for the motorways.
