Bloody Met Office. When I checked the forecast earlier it said sunny all day. I have hung the washing out and now it says cloudy all day! As its only 12 degrees with no real wind, it could be a long drying day!
Well I waited for it all day, but not once did it show up, not even one ray and it hardly got above freezing all day 0.3° was the highest I saw and it feels like -3° at least.
The 'current' forecast is for 11 degrees and cloudy with a chance of some rain this afternoon. I say current because the Met Office have a habit of changing the forecast - sometimes dramatically - after 8.00am.
I think it´s rather more than a crescent moon that´s the first quarter moon when its on it´s back, we used to say that was it was the most frosty of nights.
Oh what a grey day, rain, wind doesn’t look to me as if there’ll be any yellow yet again, cold even colder out in the wind. Yesterdays wind was also very icy.
Sun came out yesterday after 2 weeks of dull and damp weather with temperatures rarely above 2℃. With a clearer sky, it went down to -6.3℃ last night. Not very good when we live 2/3rd of the way down France.
What a horrible miserable day and I have a workman outside, good job I have a bit to overhanging roof, he keeps more or less dry, but it really is wet, windy and cold.
