Just an idea for a new type of thread, what's the weather like where you are today.
Here in not very sunny at all Keighley, just south of the North Yorkshire border it is snowing hard, (we're at 980 feet) very windy, and quite cold too.
The temperature got up to 30 degrees enroute to Siena yesterday but thankfully settled down to 27 by the time we arrived. Today's forecast is 25 degrees and an increasing chance of rain showers as the day progresses.
It is raining right now here. Not heavily, but steady. It will help alleviate, we are short of water. If it is raining here it is probably bucketing down in the mountains behind us. I hope there won't be thunder. I have meetings in town today and one of our dogs is terrified by thunder. That is odd, she's by no means timid otherwise, but thunder is coming to get her.
It's looking a lot cooler up near the coast so we are looking at around 18 degrees today and sunny with perhaps a slight chance of a shower later in the day.
We had gorgeous weather on our trip up through France tbh Jean: the best on the trip so far! It was cooler yesterday up at Eperlecques when we got here...around 17 degrees. Some cloud but no rain thankfully.
18 degrees and light cloud [so you may be right Jean!] in Cirencester where we are heading tonight.
