Hi i came across this site whilst cruising the internet highway, i have a compass calypso, which my wife and i use every weekend, winter and summer, as i we attend a country & western club for linedancing. and we also use the van for all our main holidays, if any one is intrested in using their vans to attend one of our club nights there is no charge for camping unless it is a bank holiday when we put on enterainment for the weekend,our club is based near buxton derbyshire, you can email me on [email protected] hope to see lots more motorhomes there. :lol:

Thanks for the reply, to cure the kids take them to welshpool on july the 15th (approx) because there is a big festival c&w at the castle showground
and it even converts non westerners into liking it, if youcan't wait till then why not pop over to our club for a sat night in warmer climes when the kids could sleep in a awning or a tent, life too short just enjoy it. :lol:

Hello there we have just joined we are from the IOM and also own a Compass Calypso. We are new to all this, any tips please that will help us that relate in particular to the Compass Calypso. What extra gadgets have you installed to make it more comfy. We will be very interested. We have caaled ours Cronki Bonki, what is your nick name. Looking forward to hear from you all out there.

Welshpool C & W Festival

Know all about that Calypso as I work there part of the week - it's not far from us. The locals are always telling me what a good weekend it is! I did get as far as the entrance a couple of years ago but the admission prices put me off!

Welshpool

I used Welshpool as a stopping off place on route between Aberaeron and Chester. The carpark is massive and the market town has a lot of character. Lots of interesting shops and eating places that do not cost a fortune. I also had the pleasure to use the only camp site at Aberaeron. The site is just on the edge of the town lots of facilities, I will reccomend it to any one . Every one is so friendly down there. It is well woth a visit
