I got around to it at last - took down the hornet nest in our loft and it is now waiting in our garage for me to dissect it.
After its first spotting in 2021, it was left having read that nests do not get reinhabited again - WRONG - they came back and have more than doubled it's size since then.
It has to go now since it was a worry being only a trap door away from our guest bedroom. Some guests need spiders removed so I cant imagine what they would think about a busy hornet nest above their room.
No one has been stung and they have never caused us any problems but they are a worry so time to go.
