We had company on our walk this morning. here you see three Musketeers, the lady on the far right is Rita who lives across the road, is 10 years older than me and is in her garden as much as weather permits, the lady in the middle I have never met before even though she doesn't live far away, just on the other side of the road and has been there since 1997. Flaps still have to be down to keep the cold out of my ears. clouds have arrived after the lovely blue start to the day.

Just been a walk the main square and the park behind the house is full of children as there are games for them its the start of the build up for the Grand Depart of the Tour de France which starts in Bilbao in July thinking of moving into the motorhome and renting the house out for 1000euro anight for the event

That happens at times with all of us I think Pat hence we have posts doubled up because we click to send again thinking it hasn´t gone.

I have contacted them Jan. They just ask all sorts of questions, most of which I can't answer because they are technical and then fail to come back to me on the ones I have answered. It is not the end of the world. I get on every other forum I am a member of straight away. Just this one that plays me up.

We are taking the MH in for its annual Hab Check this morning. Nothing else planned for today apart from that, although I would like to sit down with the calendar and plan the dates for trips away this year.

We are off to Bridgend this morning so Mrs GMJ can visit her mother at her new nursing home. She has now been diagnosed as having dementia as well as her other ailments, so we are meeting her social worker first to start the process of looking after her bank account and payments etc.

I forgot to mention Mouse Wars...

We havent heard anything for days now and the traps still have their bait after 3-4 days being down so I think this episode is over for now. I'll lift the traps today/tomorrow but still leave the poison boxes down just in case.

I guess they eat it and then die. I'd rather not have mice. Mrs GMJ is extremely wary of them and I cant have her worrying about that.

Nothing much planned today. We went into Diss yesterday afternoon, to a computer shop, because laptop mouse pad thingy has seized up. It will not do a right click. They told us we need a whole new keyboard at about £150 or we could have a wireless mouse for £5.99. Got the mouse and then, on the way home, realised that I type on my lap so working a mouse will not be that easy! I am going to give it a try as it is only on the right click I can probably manage with it on the arm of my chair. Looks like new laptop is not far away.

Not much planned here either, today. Our complaint against the electrician has been escalated to a higher authority. Still not sure that they take the whole thing over. They just mediate

Very exciting day, the dark wash is done and the light wash is doing. Making something with chicken medallions, I´ll check with Grahams recipes. Video call from Heike at 12.30.
The offer for changing one big room into 2 has arrived, have to see when he can start the job.

Paying the price for marrying a woman 20 years younger who still wants to work while I would like to be off in the camper. At least her work is now days, mostly taking care of the family farm so she can take days off but it is just hard to get her to do it. The last few days I built a new stand for the TV and my old speakers.
