I thought somewhere to comment on or suggest TV programs might be a good subject as it tends to get put in amongst other threads so not easy to find later on.

We watched the last of the Vigil series on Friday night, it's been quite well done, about faslane and Russian spies on a submarine, also started the second series of Manhunt with Clunsie playing a very odd part as a rozza.

Also a really good USA series, man with a plan, very funny.

I find a lot of stuff from the last few years seem to be either enabling people I'm not interested in or even heard of, or someone from YouTube, or when they go somewhere you get 5 minutes of them telling where they're going or been and 2 minutes of actual footage.
We started watching Happy Valley the other night (S1 Ep1) as it is a programme that has passed us by for some reason. Looks quite interesting on first showing.

I'm no snowflake but after a seriously misspent youth I found I had to stop watching it, a bit too graphic in places, it's very well done, too well for me.
I know some people like him but I'm not one.

We finished watching The Gold on iPlayer last night. We thought it was a cracking series of 6 episodes and recommend it.

'Blue lights' on BBC, cracking Northern Ireland police drama which I would say is up there with Happy Valley and Line of Duty, if not better so far

I've binge watched the 1st 4 episodes on iplayer, finishing it tonight.

BBC iPlayer - Blue Lights

Just watching the last series of 'Silent Witness' we recorded a few months ago. Brilliant and gripping if a little far fetched.

Watched the first three episodes of this last night. Really good I thought but bloody hell, if its true to life its a grim job being a Rozzer in Belfast. Some place huh? Jeeez.

Its a pity our series are often so short though. Six episodes? Ill finish it tonight.

We also started Blue Lights last night on the iPlayer. Grim indeed. It's edge of the seat stuff when they venture into the no go areas...

I suppose the next police series will be how they had to take all manpower off the streets to investigate all the police abuse in house.

We finished watching Blue Lights on the iPlayer last night. What a superb, gripping series it was too. Gritty and tough viewing in places. Highly recommended.
We started watching Redemption last night, might watch the next one to see if we carry on but not greatly impressed.

We started watching the new adaptation of Great Expectations on iPlayer last night. It's split into 3 parts and the first one was very well done we thought.
We finished the 3rd series of Happy Valley the other night on the iPlayer. We watched all 3 series' back to back and thorughly enjoyed them (it that's the word). They were very engrossing watching.
