I just bought a 2011 Bessacar e435. All was OK but the bathrooom lights have stopped working, not sure if I have not turned something on or have turned something off.
There is a pull cord on the bathroom which is still clicking but the 2 lights are not coming on. I have remove the covers with the 3 screws and there is a singl led under each but I have no idea how to check if these have gone or not.
All other lights are working fine.
I checked for a separate fuse but only fuse 14 says habitation lights or something like that.

"I've checked the 4amp fuse where the casset is and the fuse in the mian box and they all look OK so I am now stummped."

Sorry John, all fuses most of the time look ok. Ideally they should be removed and tested using either a continuity tester or meter.

All through my working live I used all sorts of electrical meters, but for simple electrical testing I much prefer a test lamp/continuity tester. Something similar or even this one.

Yes, water is working on taps, all other lights work but the bathroom seems to have no power. I've borrowed a multimeter and will start checking from light pull swich for the light to where the cassete goes in the 4 amp fuse looks OK but may have gone, I also read a blog on the c402 toilets that says the pumps can just seize but that wouldn't explain why when I filled the toilet from the shower the full light hasn't c.ome on. I've messaged an auto electrician and amwaiting a reply. I'll update this thread when I know more.
