Unfortunately that is not as easy as it should be, The Sky box channels are set up to your postcode, You will need to search for other channels then save them to the "Extra Channels" listing then select which ever you want to watch.

I have forgotten how to do it now but someone will be along to explain how to.

 

I thought that where ever your area was when you purchased it that is what you will get. Our LIDLE box gets every area.

 

Unfortunately not with a Sky box, At least that is what Sky told me when I complained that my box was displaying a different area channel than I was in, They asked me my address and someone had entered the incorrect postcode she said.

I now have a dreambox and I can select any area I want as well.

 

Hi, On my Pace (Sky) box the 'other areas' are on channels 970-995 but I dont know about later model decoders.

Hi, as said in the forum a sky box is matched to a postcode, but it is possible to add in different regions for your itv/bbc ect if you tell me the region you want I will give you the codes and explain how to add them in.

If you put your Sky card in you should get the local news to where the card is registered to.

That is what ours does, if I take the card out it defaults to London on our box. Put the card in and its is North East
