I have downloaded the USB version http://www.campingcar-infos.com/Francais/USB.php

and last night had a play off line.
The aires all show but no maps.
With my very limited knowledge of French I think I need to zoom into the area and the maps get loaded into the cache.
Not knowing exactly what part of France I will be going it seems I have to zoom into every department to load the maps (very time consuming ).
Can anyone tell me if there is a quicker way of loading the maps please.

The download version does not include the detailed maps which you can see when connected online. The download page does include a warning of this but also a suggestion that you could download to your browser cache a selection of maps when online to view offline, in advance. On my smartphone I can capture a page to view offline or on my Macbook hit 'Print' and then 'Save as pdf'. A bit clunky and militates against spontaneity but quite useful. :)

I would also be interested in a solution.

We have a usb stick a couple of years old, and went for a new one a couple of days ago.

Have had a little play, and it almost seems that you have to look at a region closely for it to get in the cache.

We are heading for Croatia in just over a weeks time and will possibly return via south of france. Nothing at all planned other that routing through Switzerland.
Can I get all this in my cache?
This will of course limit it to a single laptop because of maps in cache.
We were aware that you would have to look on line First but it is a narrow window unless we are missing something

I don't have cci on a usb stick, just on the laptop as a download but that's the same thing. I do have the CCI app on my smartphone but that is dependent on a network connection of course. Other than saving a few map pages as pdf files, I find the best option is preplanning the night before online or stopping off for a coffee at McDonalds to shortlist a few for future reference once I see where we have got to later in the day.

CCI also. All the Aires is very good but CCI has has more than France. Best to accumulate all the resources you can muster. I can think of a number of overnights we found in CCI before they appeared in CCI and vv.

All of the Aires have GPS co-ordinates. These can be put into a Sat Nav, MS AutoRoute, or any other mapping software such as Osmand+ on an Android tablet.
You can then view the locations.
