This may have a simple answer but how do you tell the difference between the two. Is it the start of the chassis No. :serious:

It's X250 and X290. The X250 is the 2007 to 2014 big headlight model and the X290 is the 2014 onwards with the slimmer headlights. The VIN still starts with 250 so that doesn't help.
