The old dear (1991) was getting a bit leaky and my local garage found the power steering rack was shot. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw one online for £1000 new, but my man got a recon exchange for £203. The part arrived boxed and looking brand new and the job is now done for a total of £340, I am well pleased (as the young folk say).
We now have a new problem as the cap of the power steering fluid reservoir somehow got lost and the garage is looking for a replacement. Does anyone know where plastic bits like this can be found?
