Over the last couple of weeks I've be messaging a fellow MHer nearby. Anyway to cut a long story short they invited us round for a coffee to try and help us make our mind up about buying our first MH. We went round this morning and met Daf and Sue. Smashing people and a very warm welcome. Hope to stay in touch.
This forum is a great way of meeting new friends.

Fantastic
I Am hoping and praying I get to meet some of the folks on here at the meet in May. If not before.
The computer has brought me in touch with some amazing friends on the internet over the years
Me too Tina, you all know who you are lol,
The show rallies are good for meeting other members, know you would need to book direct to get hook up and be in a different area, but it can be done.
Will be at the Peterborough Show, but am away for the Newark one.
Will contact you if heading for your neck of the woods.

Hi Sheriff

We too love the Motorhome Show Rallies where we have been lucky enough to meet some of the nicest people.
As Sue said, most Motorhome Shows do not provide a hook-up but during the warmer months gas and a battery will normally be enough. If you have a solar panel, this makes you more or less independent. They all provide water and a chemical waste disposal, so look up the next rally and stick your name down to join it. If things should go wrong, there will always be someone around to ask.
