Hi all. I'm new to camping and have an older Talbot Express.
Great van with rust in all the usual places and an LPG conversion plus a great gearlinkage.
Anywhose, the problem is with the lack of spark. Its been playing up for a while now by becoming more difficult to drive when hot so something has been suffering. I have done all the usual checks for voltage and have come to the conlusion that its the Ignition Module.
Now the question is are they available from Motor Factors or are they dealer only and the other question is are they a weak spot in the Electrics.
If they cause problems then I will swop it back to a conventional points type Dizzy and fit an aftermarket Lumention or Piranha system.
