My ISP is talktalk and still working fine. Didn't they warn you of disconnection? I thought they only did this if you had been naughty with your downloads!

 

Talktalk have been acquisition mad over the last few years so have many legacy systems : guess yours must have been disconnected.

Plusnet aren't TalkTalk - they were acquired by BT.

Why not just get yourself a hotmail or googlemail account?

 

I read the OP's post to mean he has lost his email not his broadband connection is that correct?

If that is the case can they not just move you to a new server? What have they said? Assuming you can actually get to speak to some one.

I presume you wont want to change your address as people will know it?

I have been with telco4u for about 10yrs But not sure, time flies when u are enjoying yourself, so I am probably due for a change. My broadband is with a company called Metronet never had any problems & I would think I have been with them for a similar time as telco. £10 + vat/mth. Replying to Travellers query no email or any form of contact at all from TT just this frustrating couple of days trying to find out what the problem was. Making contact with TT they just informed me that they were having email problems so I said should I be looking for another server & he just said yes it was an old site & they were shutting it down. So now I need to make a list of companies that need to know my new address--better get on with it
