I cannot quite pin it down but some of the magic goes out of this topic when I look out of my window; was it ever so warm that I wallowed in the joy of walking outside with no clothes.
Just tried it with only six layers, pleasure factor very limited!
Please remind me of more warm places, that there is a tomorrow and that winter is not forever.

Thank you Firewood but sharing a hot tub with a chap in the winter.... ah what the heck! Yes please! but I will need Startrek to beam me over. You may not have noticed but it is still a mite chilly twixt thee and me.

You can see out your windows? Here is another of Keef's top tips to make you appreciate the warm weather and the freedom that naturism gives even more.

Strip off and walk about naked in the snow and cool fresh air for half an hour.

Let us know how you get on.

Alan, is Ros expecting you to do massive amounts of exercise while you are out there naked in the snow?

If so, you will have to roll around in it to cool down, but not so much that you get hypothermia!

My wife tells me to work up to it and deal with the hyperthermia.

 I will get my coat, 'cos it's cold out there!

Oh! Well spotted...Er, will aim to do better in future.
Rosalie (wife) is a nurse and would have slapped something had she seen my error.
Will aim to raise standards in future; I put it down to the cold getting to me.

Thanks for those and any more added l would love to go to naturist places and although prefer the continent as warmer will use uk places just make sure l have warm clothes.

Go naked in the UK?
Please listen attentively to weather forecasts; this country ishttp://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/redface.gifcold.
As yet I am still sewn up in my winter garb and do not expect the stiches to come out before 25c.

Swimming in the nude is even better, but likewise how often are UK waters warm enough?

And, no, don't try it at your local leisure centre pool!

That's my view.

It is, indeed, lovely to sunbathe in the nude - but how often is the weather good enough??? Hardly ever!
Couldn't agree more concerning the pleasure of sunbathing in the buff.

However, surprised you think the weather isn't usually good enough in the UK. Obviously, we don't enjoy the same climate as southern Europe, but our sunbeds had their first outing of the year in the garden this afternoon. And I was within a whisker of stripping off... no wind and bright blue sky. Smashing.

The secret is to get out of the wind - once sheltered, it's surprising how low the shade air temperature can be on a 'blue-sky' day, but still nice and warm sitting in the sun. Ideal for being in the all-together early and late season.

The good thing about swiming in the sea in the buff.. no sand in the pants

I cannot tell you how cold the pools are on the Costa del Sol at the moment, 7 days of rain kills the sunbathing too. When warm enough I pop down the road to Costa Natura, swimming naked is great. Sunbathing's easy enough on my own terrace, but where's the sun!

The sun is rumoured to be returning next Thursday.....

NO WAY KC absolutely no way l shall continue to wimp it

Toughen up you lot.

I've already had my kit off on a beach in tropical Scotland in February. Sat for two hours reading a book.
Some things are done for pleasure and some things are done because we like a little pain, in the latter category exposing myself to a north sea oil rig isn't one of them. As for reading, I can't think of any passage in any book hot enough to compensate!

I love Scotland, especially Scotland in winter, ice on deck up there is not unknown to me, but never without the thermals and the full breathable kit. I have a big dustbin sized Reflex oil heater aboard, that thing's warmer than the sun, happy to be naked next to that when it's doing it's bit for global warming!
